Check out local lumber yards or contact someone who sells cedar rails (EMC usually has ads-they usually offer different lengths/widths) you may have to paint them yourself but rent a paint sprayer and it will go faster!!

One way to make them is to buy 4x4's and have a tool savvy man (or woman) cut the corners off

Yes, we do in the spring and late fall go and cut/fall cedar trees and harvest jump rails either 8 ft or 10 feet.
