I'm just wondering where you guys find your leather show halters for the foals? I can't seem to find anything that fits my filly, sucking is too small, and weanling is too big and bulky for her little head!

Try wicksteed stable and tack in Carleton Place she does get in a variety of leather quality (suitable for line etc.) sizes from suckling, weanling, yearling, 2 year old etc. (not just western but english too). Charlotte can also order in usually rather quickly.

If you want a filly slip getting one from over seas is your best bet. Pic attached of the one we got it looks great but I was disappointed in the quality for the $. It was about $100 and it feels like it's only a set up from Greenhawk) If you want a really nice foal halter try here : http://quillin.com/jshop/
I've gotten a few leather halters (foal and horse/pony) and leads from them and the quality was GREAT! Smiler OR if you are looking for next year I'm sure Owen at HW could make you something AMAZING!! He's making us a filly slip for next year and his work is truly exceptional Smiler

Just a note though, the cost will depend on the quality. A hand made filly slip could/will run you $200 if good quality goods are used.
