Just a quick note to tell everyone that the Oldenburg Verband will be conducting the Eastern Ontario Foal Registration and Mare Inspection beginning at 9:00 AM, 17 Aug 08 at Rideauwood Farm, located just outside Merrickville on County Rd #23. Spectators are welcome.

what is the schedule for the day - when is the foal inspection? thanks!

I will be there again this year with Caballo Farm and their 08' Depardieu filly and their mare Benita. We had a great time last year with the Calimero colt and are excited to go again this year. A perfectly run inspection at an amazing facility that is very welcoming and easy for the young ones. See you all there!

We are starting at 9:00 AM with Mares, and then getting quickly into the foals. I would recommend being there by 9:00 AM.

What a fantastic day! All the mare and foals were well behaved and all looked amazing. Thanks to all who put it on, esp Rideauwood for hosting, our mare and filly had a great time!

I have to agree a lovely even put on by Rideauwood Farm this morning.

I have video of all but one of the mares & foals available for $20 each mare/foal combo. Please contact me to let me know if you would like it done up.

Meagan, who did you have at the inspection?

We had the 7 week Depardieu filly Dieudonne with the mare Benita. They were the only ones who were inspected as mare and foal together. I believe she was the smallest foal.

Thank you to all who attended. It was successful, and based upon confirmed pregnancies to date, the 2009 inspection will be considerably larger.
