I see it posted at Scotiabank, and the advertising in the paper.

Anyone know if Sandra has a website for this Agri-Sport All Star Weekend?

Too bad so expensive to go watch, but they are paying for a terrific venue. That'll be a lot of stabling outdoors I imagine too?

Where will the riders warm-up? It's not like the Royal with 2 mini exercise rings and the barn ring.

uhmm...pay $50 to go see the same grand prix riders that will be showing for the next two teeks at the A show? That doesnt make sense..not to mention it doesnt sound like theyre opening it up for people to show that arent the Canadian Equestrian Team...seems sketchy

Bean♥: Yes, going to watch the horses compete at Scotiabank Place will cost some money - but so does attending the classes at the Royal Winter Fair.

I think that we who are already in the sport need to look at this as a great opportunity to showcase our sport to the non-horse community.

Hmmm, is there a list of riders anywhere that will be competing? Wouldn't mind seeing who will be there before I fork over 50 bucks...and I just saw most of the Canadian Olympic team plus the best riders in this country, the US and South America jump for $125,000 in Bromont...and I watched for free! Smiler

Really? What A shows have you been to?? Like fairmont said, bromont INTERNATIONAL has people from other countries come to compete - and if i remember correctly tickets at the royal only cost like $30 or something..could be wrong..but its the royal - you can watch people that have been forking loads of money over all year to make it this far..see up and coming riders..there's a huge trade fair, etc...

I think this is going to be a huge flop. People in the area can ome and watch members from our olympic team at the ottawa show...

Last year may have been a bad example, if I remember correctly our tam was in beijing at the time?? but there has been huge support from them in our area in the past

Hi Bean,
Good way to support something new in our area and for the sport. I will be there and I am bringing guests with me. We don't care that we have seen these riders at several shows this year already and will probably see them again at the Royal a month later. I love the sport, I love watching them cause I am too darn old and too darn chicken to jump something that big!

At the very least, voice some support for our sport. There were many who said that a two week A show in Ottawa would flop. Heck, there were many way back when who said that an A show would NEVER happen in Ottawa, ever. And now look.

Got my 100 level, front row seats for the PBR for my dad and I. I've seen local rodeos in Florida, but never a real PBR event!

I too cannot afford to see the GP events.

I'd love to support, but if I'm already going to the Royal, it's cheaper to see them there, and you get to see a ton more things!
