I'm looking to buy
- a tall (at least 16 hh)
- healthy
- youngster
- that I can start

Race and gender don't matter. Must have good conformation and be suitable for dressage/jumping/eventing.

If your horse has been broken/lightly started, I might be interested; however I'm mainly looking for a horse to train myself from the start.

My budget is max. $3,000.

Must be within 2 hours from Ottawa.
Please send info and pictures to kris1107@gmail.com.

Why don't you look into getting an OTTB? There are so many available right now, for cheap, too, well within your price range. Google FLTAP(sorry, don't have the link handy) and go to trainer listings. Many, many available and shipping can be arranged. Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program is the name of the group placing these lovely animals.

Here's the link

I got a nice TB X Percheron gelding, 3 years old, about 16.3 (if you really like tall horse!) Big mover, sweet personnality, healty and haven't been started (just lunged). He is a nice looking boy and has lots of power. Located in Carleton Place 30 minutes west of Ottawa. We are asking 2600$

If interrested, more information and picture:

TB X percheron gelding now located in Bromont (QC) and lightly started under saddle ( walk-trot, riden 5 time) and VERY sweet! Has been riden in a big field and no need of lunging, never tried to buck or rear, always been VERY relaxed and happy to week.

Still avalaible at same price, but price will increase once he is going a bit more.

I have a percheron/tb cross mare. Sweet temperment, has been sat on but nothing more. Sitting in field just eating so she needs someone who has the time to start her and work with her. I love her to peices so I want to see her go somewhere where she can get the attention and work she needs.
