I'm just curious--who's planning on going to the Radical Jumper at Meadowvale on August 20th?

I'll be there for sure! Either riding, or helping out in some way or another.

The course is looking great so far... footing is great and the new water jump and bank complex are ready to go!

There is more information, as well as an entry form, on the Meadowvale Farm website: http://www.meadowvalefarm.ca

This is definitely something I want to try out! Hopefully Dublin and I will be ready for this one. Who knows! Razzer

If not..then there are others.

I'll be there, of course, taking pictures for the whole day. I'm so excited!

Wish they were all on weekends. I can't make it out during the week cause of work.

Yes, I heard that the turn out at some of the other fine venues this year was disappointing, despite all of the hard work by the hosting barn.

I guess people need to support these events if they want them to continue (understand that that "work" thing gets in the way of life sometimes!! Wink )

I think they make it a little better too, by making it in the evening. It starts at 4:30. Smiler

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday, August 20th, at our Radical Jumper.

The courses are looking great, we have wonderful rolling terrain with a variety of obstacles.

The entry forms are available at our website at www.meadowvalefarm.ca on the Radical Jumper page.

We're starting with the "Novice" (2'3") division. The course walk starts at 4:00 and riders start at 4:20 pm.

If you have any questions, email me (Stephanie) at meadowvale@xplornet.com or call 613-256-8170.

Thanks!

Well, I still can't make it to any that are during the week, even if they start at 4...If we work until 4 or 5, go back home, load up our horse and head there....there is no way anyone who works that day can get there before 6:30ish. Having the Radical Jumpers during the week will surely not have as much turn out as the weekend ones. Sucks for us working adults. I'm guessing only young students with the summer off can make it.

Yeah, it's unfortunate isn't it? I reckon the weekend RJs DO get many more entries. I'm glad I was able to book the day off work for it. Smiler

On another note, Meadowvale is having another Radical Jumper on October 4th-- which is a Sunday Wink. So maybe we will see those who couldn't make this one in October!
