I have a fat, lazy grey gelding sitting in my field, eating me out of house and home. It is getting to be easier to jump over him than go around him. And that is no easy task! CT is a large (in more ways than one!) 16.1HH Hano gelding.
With all of my time being taken up by the youngsters, the "old man" is just getting wider and wider. He's looking for someone to ride him a few times a week and help him shed those extra pounds before winter. CT is a very well schooled old man - can do up to Third Level Dressage (when fit! Don't ask him to half pass right now, he'd probably drop dead), jumps, hacks, and has some impressive achievements in Eventing. He is a Schoolmaster but *not* a school horse.
We are not looking for a lease fee or any other expenses nor are we offering to pay you to ride. The ride on CT is there for the right person to take. If you'd like to take him to your barn for the winter, we can chat (though the expenses would be your responsiblity).
whereabouts are you located? I know someone that is looking for a winter ride, also is there an indoor where he is currently located? kate_eventing@hotmail.com
Sorry folks, CT is not for sale. I was simply looking for someone to ride him as long as the weather held (we do not have an indoor) and that need was met a few days after I posted my original ad.
