Has anyone used this on their horses injured ligaments or tendons? What's the success rate like?

Yes, I've used it on my horse's ripped tendon. (I think anyways, it might have been ultrasound therapy...) And after a nice long summer off, he's been great! I now compete consistently at Training level eventing!!! I find it really helped.

I just completed a set of three shockwave treatments on my horse for a ligament and tendon issue. We did three treatments each two weeks apart. I'm hoping for the best. I can update you after the ultrasound in three weeks.

An update would be awesome. What vet did you use? How bad were the injuries? Just curious.

I won't have an update until we do the ultrasound in 2 weeks. My horse had a re-injury to his left front superfical flexor tendon and his suspensory ligament. This is the last time I'm going to try and fix this so I wanted to do everything possible. We also put bar shoes on the front and he has been on stall rest for six weeks. I do ride him almost everyday at the walk for 30 minutes. I'll try and remeber to put an update of the ultrasound after it's done. You can email be at bmcgovern@primus.ca for more info.
