Has anyone tried using Traumeel on their horse? I have an older mare with a bad hock injury and have read good testimonials on this. It's a homeopathic medication, you can buy it in health food stores or some drugstores. I have read though that you should sue the gel form for a horse. Does anyone know where you can buy that?

I saw it today at Loblaws in the Organic medicines section, with the homeopathic medicines.

yes, absolutely wonderful stuff. There are various forms - cream, gel or pills.

All can be obtained from Nutrichem Pharmacy on Richmond Rd. or Rainbow foods (just down the road).

Some health food stores will also carry it or anywhere with homeopathic "drugs".

You may also want to consult with the homeopath at Nutrichem (she's excellent) to give you some recommendations on other alternative medications that you can try.

I've had very good success with them.
