Less than a month from Spiritwood's first show! My mare is so fat and out of shape we won't be ready for that show. Maybe I can leg up one of the TB mares...but we have survived the winter!
So how is everyone's show planning going so far?
Where and what are you showing this coming season?
I have my big crossbred mare, and possibly one of the thoroughbred mares that I can show.

Well first off all the snow has to come off the ring at Spiritwood first, Joanna is thinking maybe make snowmen holding each letter. LOL

I have a 4 year old this year so will be showing training level, though will mostlikey do one W/T first SW show.

I will be showing Rosewood Fancy (pony) in Training level, we will be losing to Caroline after the first show Wink unless of course he is super sane and nothing fazes him, then will will lose to Caroline all season!

I have a couple of students showing also, 1 will do the w/t green rider, 1 at training not sure if she is doing the season or just a couple of shows, and 1 at hopefully first but the horse has to shed a lot of weight first.

I am hoping to get my turning 3 year old out this season but have to get him on a trailer first!! He will only be doing the w/t green horse but may (seriously doubting this) do some training at the end of the season.

Yippee Joanna cleared the snow off the ring! Hopefully with this warm weather coming this week the show will go on!!!!

Well unless we get a horrible amount of rain before the 27th it looks like the show will go on, yippee!

Very excited about my boy's first show. Now we just have to get the canter under control, my boy loves cantering a little too much right now, he gets so excited about. LOL

My entry is in. I'll just have Mr. Maple at Spiritwood. Thankfully I'd been driving him most of the winter so he's fit. Hope to do training level next show.

Looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up - shows become social events too LOL

Would be interested as well to hear if NCEP is on or not as well.

Good luck to everyone.

I rode out on Spiritwood's dressage ring this afternoon and the footing was fabulous! Lets pray it doesn't rain between now and the show!
