Looking to find a dressage barn with indoor (heated would be awesome!) arena to take lessons over the winter on good school masters - twice per week....
I recommend Ruth Koch's place in Oxford Mills(?) if you really need to be close to Kemptville! It's fabulous! But I don't know any of her contacts... I would also recommend BluePrint on Rogers Stevens Drive which is in North Gower. E-Mail blueprintfarm@hotmail.com Both have GREAT coaches!
Thanks Phantom Katie. I would love to train there, but I was told she didn't have any school horses (all horses there are boarders) and she leaves for the winter for the sunny south!
Spiritwood Farm in North Gower may have something available for part lease, you'd have to contact the barn for more details however as I'm not up to date with whats going on there right now. Nice heated indoor arena and tack room. Very laid back environment. At least two dressage coaches routinely teaching there and you can also bring your own (provided the owner of the horse agrees) On the plus side if you stay there in the summer they host many of the local dressage shows so its super easy to enter shows.
We are located south of Kemptville about 20 minutes. We have a super nice facility. Although I do not have any school horses at the moment, I can probably come up with a lease or half-lease situation for someone who could commit to a number of months.
