I had seen on equistation the date for the show at Starlit (silver show and championships).

Just wondering if anyone knew of any other dates at this point. Trying to juggle some line shows, dressage shows and western shows.

Any info. appreciated.

THANKS

Check the www.equivents.com site as well - dates are up on there for some of the local Gold Dressage shows.

Spiritwood has their dates posted on their site. Dewmont does not yet and have not checked Honeys.

the full list is on the oadg website. Honey's is not mentioned. I'd heard that the property was for sale (the section where the show was not the house/stable/arena) so this may be why.

A few years ago the AERRSMDC (south shore of Montreal) had a decent dressage circuit going (I have not been around in recent years!). Their website is
http://www.aerrsm.org/aerrsmdc/index.htm

Click on 'Concours' in the menu at the top for the 2009 schedule.

I hate to hi-jack this thread, but I was wondering where one finds all the information about the different levels of dressage shows and what is required to compete in them? My daughter will be making the move to dressage this summer. I know how to do all this stuff for eventing, but dressage seems a whole different world.

try taking a look at the OADG (Ottawa Area Dressage Group) website.

There you will find a list of shows and prize llists. Depending on the level - discovery days, OESS, etc. the requirements vary slightly.

Hope this helps

Equine Canada Website check out Dressage rules and you will find a chart in the chapter concerning shows showing what level requires what membership.

But for some just starting out Discovery is all one needs. And we have a great list of Discovery shows in the Ottawa area.
Offering walk trot and onwards.

All you need is an OEF membership for insurance purposes and if you want to qualify for awards year end an OADG local membership which is $25.

All the best in your discovery of Dressage.
